Announcing Kaya Morgan’s Crowning Achievement!

It feels surreal to share that I’ve got another book coming out, just six months after The Dividing Sky! Kaya Morgan’s Crowning Achievement is my Middle Grade debut, out April 1, 2025 with a new imprint at Disney Hyperion called Freedom Fire. Kaya is the book of my twelve-year-old heart, a love letter to nerdy Black kids who aren’t quite sure where they belong. I’m so grateful to Kwame Mbalia, my editor Ashley Imane Fields, and the rest of the team at Disney/Freedom Fire for believing in this story. Huzzah!
